1996: 1996 Honda NSX-GT GT500 JGTC Phase 1 (#100 Team Kunimitsu). Was a modified NSX GT2 repainted and was run by Kunimitsu Racing.
1997: 1997 #18 Mugen Dome Avex Honda NSX-GT JGTC Phase 1. Air intake was added (kind of, it was tiny), popups were replaced by fixed lights. Was tuned by Mugen and was ran by Dome.
1998: 1998 Honda NSX-GT GT500 JGTC Phase 1 (#100 Team Kunimitsu). Dive planes were added to the front and rim type was changed. Introduced the gap inbetween the A pillar and window. Was run by Kunimitsu Racing/Raybrig, the underdog Nakajima Racing/Mobil 1, Takata Dome, and Mugen.
1999: 1999 Honda NSX-GT GT500 JGTC (#64 Mobil 1). A second pair of dive planes were added to the front, and rim type was changed (for only Mobil 1 NSX). Ran by same teams as the year before.
2000: 2000 #16 Mugen/Castrol Honda NSX-GT JGTC GT500 Phase 2. Front facia is changed to have a smaller grille. Rear wing was also changed. Rim type was changed for the Mugen-Dome NSX. Ran by Mugen-Dome, Nakajima Racing, ARTA (first time they entered), and Kunimitsu Racing.
2001: 2001 Honda NSX-GT GT500 JGTC Phase 2 (#8 Arta). Regulations removed the air snorkel for 2001. Not much else was changed. Was run by same teams except Dome changed to Takata Dome.
2002: 2002 Honda NSX-GT GT500 JGTC Phase 2 (#16 Mugen Castrol). Was the first NSX to use the iconic air snorkel on top. Side vent was added to the bottom. Was run by Mugen-Castrol, Nakajima Racing, Dome, ARTA, and Kunimitsu Racing.
2003: 2003 Honda NSX Takata Dome JGTC GT500. First NSX-GT to use the new headlight housing that was used for the rest of its history. Intake was made more angular. Extra dive planes were added on the bottom. First time vents were added in the back on the bumper. Run by Takata Dome, Nakajima Racing, ARTA, and Kunimitsu Racing.
2004: 2004 Honda NSX-GT JGTC GT500 Phase 3 (#32 PIAA Nakajima Racing). Side vents extended up to the doors. Extra dive planes were added, with a spoiler change. Run by original teams including a one-off livery with PIAA by Nakajima Racing.
2005: 2005 Honda NSX-GT GT500 Phase 4 Super GT. Side vents were deleted near the door (For Nakajima Racing only, side vents were kept). Used different chassis because of the homologation model. Different front facia was added, and body was made wider. Ran by original 4 teams.
2006: 2006 Honda NSX-GT Super GT GT500 Phase 5 (#100 Team Kunimitsu). Vent delete became teamwide. Lights were added near the grille. Extra pair of dive planes were added. First introduction of the new rear bumper. Ran by same teams as 2005.
2007: 2007 Honda NSX-GT GT500 (Takata Dome #18) Phase 5. New front facia was added, and stepped floors were introduced due to regulations. Removed extra set of dive planes in the front. Lights were moved even lower due to front update (Kunimitsu Racing and Takata Dome only: Lights stayed at same position, and cut out the bumper due to that). Rear vents were updated and split. Ran by Kunimitsu Racing, Rolling Stone/Real Racing, ARTA, Nakajima Epson Racing, and Takata Dome.
2008: 2008 Honda NSX-GT Super GT GT500 Phase 5 (#100 Team Kunimitsu). Rear vents were updated again, curving the split in the rear, Front wheel arch was bent in. Lights were removed (Except Kunimitsu Racing and Takata Dome). Ran by original 5 teams as last year.
2009: 2009 Honda NSX-GT Super GT GT500 Phase 5 (#32 Nakajima Racing). Final year the NSX-GT ever raced. Number of exhuausts reduced to 1 due to regulations. Spoiler was also changed (later used on the HSV-010 GT). Front facia changed once again, and removed all dive planes. Ran by same teams, except Dome was sponsored by Rockstar and Real is sponsored by Keihin
