1998 Dodge Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition

History

This Viper was meant to celebrate the Constructor’s and Driver’s awards during the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans, specifically in the GT2 class with their Viper GTS-R. To celebrate it, they decided to make 100 of these special edition Vipers, with a special white and blue stripe paintjob, similar to the race car’s livery. The difference between this and a regular Viper was the GTS-R lettering on the window and on the rear part of the fender, and the wing which was near identical to the race one. It also had a slightly modified front bumper and side skirts, with even a tiny splitter on the front. The power was also increased from 450 to 460 horsepower over the regular Viper.
