What's the point of money currency now?

Debate here. I want to see your opinions.

Mine is pretty simple and right to the points: Money is meaningless now. And well, the devs could add something to make use of it.

Like part, now it show how good you are at the game

thought of this already, but i think some vehicles scattered throughout should be unlockable with money

literally make platina optional for the most part

the only flaw is no ones gonna use it since it will be a slower progression system

but no, an actual endgame is “bAd GaMe DeSiGn”
adding grind to that is fake playtime inflation

mastery was temporary at least, once you did all 3 you were free to do whatever you want

We need a new way to make getting money more involved in the currency system.

I do like platina more over money-based currency systems, but the grind for platina feels pretty slow, and adding in a grind for money could freshen things up.

Although, grinding for both money and platina could just bring out the worst cons of both.

again this whole system could’ve been carried out with money bonuses and multipliers instead of plat

adding a new currency just makes it overcomplicated

and confusing for new player

I have thought about it, and money multipliers with mastery (quest multipliers anyone?) is as good as platina right now. But, I am unsure if mastery will ever come back.

tbh if the ratte was 1q or something I’d be way more encouraged to grind
any other max vehicle should be only unlockable with money, otherwise it’s not a max vehicle, just the most expensive one

mfw people forget that cars under 20B still require money and you earn 20 platina for every 1T cash you earn

and
this whole system was made to revamp the 20B+ grind for newer players
guess how many of them even reached 1T

“b-but only 15% of players remain after mastery 3!!!” mate this is absolutely natural, the endgame players will always be a minority among the playerbase, and no update could change that

some just get what they want and stay there
some don’t have the time to spend on the game
some had their interests changed and just don’t play such games anymore

15% is low, 35% is around average

also how do you even know that
cc2 never had more than 10k active players, that means not a lot of truly dedicated players either

I meant 25% but still, it’s based of how other game end game progression work with a “unique” end game progression system which result to be higher than the 15% with masteries which is low compared to a 25% left

they didn’t reach 1T because they were too busy complaining about change and begging for refunds
