History:
The T86 GMC was a prototype amphibious 76mm Gun Motor Carriage developed from the M18 Hellcat during World War II. Two main variants were produced: the T86, propelled by tracks in water, and the, propelled by propellers. A third prototype, the T87, was planned with a 105mm howitzer but was not completed. Despite the promising results, the T86 and T87 projects were canceled at the end of World War II. Only 3 Prototypes were built.
