Right, so it seems the new mobile UI ain’t working too well. Some context for non-mobile players, when you’re out of a car, the new UI has a button to swap between inventory items and car functions like respawning. If the players inventory is showing when getting in a car, the buttons for respawning, etc. will fail to show up. This happens anytime the players inventory is shown, and I was on phone when I found this.
To replicate:
- Spawn a car and jump out
- Switch to inventory items
- Get back in the car, and you will see the buttons for respawning and whatnot do not appear
This bug is GUI related, so heres a few screenshots of the console. Looking at the console, it doesn’t seem like any code went wrong, which means that maybe a fix for such an event was not written:

So I do not really know if this is a bug or not, I think it is because the update said it’s about new cars and MOBILE SUPPORT. So usually I am using a car, I get out and and tap the inventory button, then I see the gear pop up. I use one of my inventory gear like an RPG and shoot the car, I respawn the car. But something’s different, all of the options to flip, honk, respawn, delete, teleport, and teleport to crusher is missing, I can only see MPH meter though. I wonder what this is? So I get out and tap the inventory button, THEN that’s when I see the car options. This bug happens EVERYTIME. Keep in mind I’m on IOS.
If you want this bug to occur. Step 1. Spawn a car. Step 2. Get out. Step 3. Click the inventory button. Step 4. Respawn. After that, you will see that you can’t see the car options!

I might need to see if this happens because I never had an issue like this and I always play mobile

I just tested it a bunch and in different ways and it isn’t happening to me
I tried respawning while using a gear.
using different gears.
quickly switching from inventory to controls and jumping in the car at the same time.
performing the steps exactly as listed in the report yet the bug didn’t happen
