elise gt1 but not
so yeah, this is another one of those obscure super gt cars that i found interesting enough to suggest
This was first entered into competition, lasting 9 years until officials nuked the ability to race low-volume production cars in gt300
Specifically, this is the 2nd version of the car, raced by Bomex for 3 years after their previous car ended up being a huge failure
Unfortunately this car was only slighly more successful, also scoring no wins just like the NSX GT300 it had replaced but at least not blowing up its engine every time it went to a race
This specific car is now being restored by some guy in New York, hopefully it becomes road legal eventually once he’s done fixing it
