2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Z71, Extended cab

This is the truck I have inRL. I love it to death. Mine is colored in Champagne, is the only difference
Like my other suggestion. This truck gains a little speed, a little looks (imo the extended cab looks better)
This would much more likely be a tier 1 than the other one.
And a little message to our friend @STREnergy
I will not bombard with with edits this time, I know all facts and specs of the extended cab by heart, (I have one)
anyhoo
It’s a beauty :)
it’s crash test ratings are not good, it’s large, it’s long, its turning is rather bad, however its handling is amazing, and can take insane derby damage in demo derbies inRL, side, and rear collisions it soaks up very well.
(idk why but a lot of vehicles that do poorly in IHHS and NHTSA kick ass in derbies inRL, not sure how that works)
One of the most reliable, universal trucks ever made, with the best v8 engines ever made, the LS engine family.
Personal favorite, I drive a very beat up one of these, and heavily used
It has served me very well, and has survived a pretty bad rear end wreck by a much larger truck
the chrome steel bumpers on these are very nice :)
love to run over small trees with them when I offroad

SPECS: (These are already final, I know them all in my head, after previously screwing up my other suggestion (fixed it though) lol)
Also, the Z71 comes with advanced air box, which gives engine more breathing=better performance
its a heavier duty filter for offroading in dust and stuff
is more airflow, and better filtering
not to mentio other things like the 4x4 system, gas shocks, skid plates and fog lights
0-60: 7.78 Seconds
Top speed: 105 MPH
Transmission: 4 speed 4l60 automatic w/ overdrive and auto 4x4, low 4x4, or high 4x4, or just manual 2wd (can chose between all of those things with buttons)
Engine: *(fcking love this engine, I swear to god its one of the best engines ever made period) *
4.8 Liter LS Vortec engine, @ 286 horsepower, and 297 ft/Ibs of torque, and has a very flat torque curve which is why its so zippy despite what numbers say
max RPM is 6000.
This thing is also bulletproof.
Weight: 5615 pounds (2.81 tons)
Seats: 5 maximum, 3 in back, 2 in front
Doors: 4 (extended cab, however it has no B-pillar…but B-pillars don’t matter a whole lot in derbies, since most of the impacts are blunt and not surgical like moderate-small overlaps)
Frame:
overall strength of this frame is quite good, can handle over-towing with ease, and is especially stout in the rear and central sections. The front is stout as well but not so much as the rest. front is boxed and hydroformed, making it a sledgehammer when it comes to ramming other cars, but tends to not like overlap hits much. Depends on many factors though but overall very tough
image
Dimensions: This truck also has high ground clearence, in game it would be about where the NM pentium is, but this truck has a wider/thicker body
Length: 227.7 inch
Wheelbase: 157.5 inch
(interior should be figured out as long as the rest of the truck is, interior is easy once you get the outside right)
ground clearance is about 12.6 inches from the frame (frame sits lower than the body itself)
Alrighty. CC2 specs time
ALSO: exterior pictures from RL of mine, of the front and engine bay will be on here for additional detail
CC2 stats:
Tier: 1
Accessibility: VIP only
Derby: Beginner
Price: (in-game) 538,420
Acceleration; no mods: 9.41
Acceleration, with all mods: 13.1
Attack, stock: 68
Attack, modded: 91
Defense score: 118

the red looks really nice, but the top speed is a bit ify

I am a little unsure of it as well, and it is likely the only thing I will need to edit
its a bit fast tbh
the 4.8 has a lot of spunk for a smallblock v8, but…107 is the 6.0 vortec top speed I think
the 4.8 is around 100, 98.
97 I think

horses and torque also need edit

Corrected: top speed, horsepower and torque.
That should be all.

is there a limiter on the car?

rev limiter? Yes but it is very high up
the 4.8 shifts at 6k on the rpm goes to 6k
With limiter off it can go 130+

I think this would be a more balanced (although still quite powerful) tier 1 VIP exclusive for beginner
the crew cab is more a tier 2

Non-car guys be like: What is the difference between your last silverado suggestion

the extended cab is the one I have inRL, the extended cab is a bit lighter, a bit faster, and overall a bit more maneuverable and stable

the extended cab also has a longer bed, and slightly different frame, and the outward opening doors

The extended cab is also just personally my favorite, and looks the best imo
I see, like, at least a dozen of these per 40 vehicles I see on the road

extended cab is just overall better

enhhhh…its more utilitarian, due to the massive opening the outward opening rear doors, it looks better, but the missing B-pillar can be bad in some wrecks like a moderate overlap
otherwise they are excellent trucks yeah

Extended cab is workhorse, crew cab is more of a people hauler, but can still do most truck stuff
the extended cab can tow more and haul more, and has more cargo space in the cab (folding rear bench)

I think 87 attack and 117 defense is pretty accurate

read a bit more on LS vortec engines
one of the things that makes them so amazing is the the amazing airflow they have in the top end of the engine, and fuel and fluid flow
it makes a “vortex” inside of the chambers, basically this thing isnt injected, it runs on liquid tornadoes
it works with the water and gas which is pretty damn amazing
geniuses made the LS engine imo
