the firebird, despite the power difference, is only .2 secs slower in the quarter mile, according to my GPS test last night of 6.6 to 60 and 14.4 quarter mile @ 89mph
the 300-C hemi is 14.2
its only that much faster

the 300c is much heavier yes but it has 340HP and much more torque

for longest time I thought the 3800 firebird wouldnt even be able to touch it but apparently it can
if the firebird had the LT1 though it would eat the chrysler for breakfast lunch and dinner

ok I found weight
Firebird is approx 3500
(3475-3485)
the 300-C is 4000
so yeah a solid chunk heavier but not much heavier than I thought

the chrysler town and country can get quarter mile just 2 seconds after the firebird
technically 1.8 seconds slower

I dont remember quite where I did it I did a 6.1 to 60 somewhere on the way home and a 13.1 quarter mile but…
the 3800 is a hell of an engine but I mean come on thats too fast

I will retry tomorrow but if I get almost 6 seconds flat im gonna be surprised
but yeah 6.6 imo is most accurate

my firebird does have a couple small mods, one is the performance air filter, and an emissions delete but both of those together maybe add 10-15HP at the most
