@STREnergy
I found out the Mazda RX-7 goes 0-60 in 4.9 seconds wheras the Firebird in 6.6
I am gonna seek your input this time, but I will also conduct more tests when I get home (roblox)
Trying to determine the accel of the Firebird
Here are its OFFICIAL speed stats, you can insert these if you want. I tested with a GPS yesterday.
0-60: 6.6 sec in 525 feet
Quarter mile: 14.4 sec @ 89mph
Top speed: 125
So the in-game RX-7 has a 10.3 stock accel (I think) so I think to compensate the Firebird should be around 10?? Maybe 10 on the dot what do you think
EDIT: Just make the stock 10.0 on the dot, anything less will risk taking away its high end power which it has lots of.
This is the problem with me and roblox I think, that power bands are all equal in CC2. All linear.
But yeah 10 on the dot is fine, but be ready to edit again when I Get home but 10.0 should be it.
Also, the max accel is going UP, to 15.0 on the dot.
I found out that these motors can handle 850 at the crank before blowing up. MUCH more power than the Ecoboost, but the Firebird is heavier car, so made .3 increase to compensate. It’s still quite fast though in-game, about as fast as the Lamborghini Urus modded

Here is it cleaned up.
Just paste these in
Defense score: 117 (from 120, 120 was a tad too high)
Max acceleration: 15.0
Stock acceleration: 10.2
Stock attack: 55
Max attack: 82
Thanks ^^
I did it with real instruments this time (the inRL testing) so this is last edit. For sho.
Used to I did the math in paper but the GPS (lol) proved much more accurate.
This concludes my testing. All stats should be good now.

6.6 sec is not bad

not at all. ESPECIALLY given the firebird weighs as much as an SUV and the 200hp v6
its all in the torque ;)
It has a very flat horsepower curve but the 3.8 is engineered MUCH better than any other V6

it can actually keep up with a 2021 ford ranger tremor despite the huge horsepower difference.
numbers arent everything and most people dont take into account HOW the power is harnessed.
people argue with me on YT and stuff saying “no way thats stock”
the reason they think that is cause they focus on the number without knowing -anything- about the engine.

but yeah 6.6 is pretty quick even by modern standards. it aint the fastest thing on the road but it certainly gives modern sport cars a good run for their money even if the Firebird ends up losing it puts up a good fight

The firebird truly is a very fast tank

@STREnergy also a small edit that has been bothering me (something I did, a mistake in the post)
“tub and birdcage”…
.-.
delete that and put SAFETY CAGE (not in caps)
paste THIS part…enh, anywhere. “The 4th generation Firebird and Camaro were the first vehicles, alike the 4th and 5th gen Corvettes, to pioneer the high strength steel “safety cage” which consists of reinforced cockpit area, a massive reinforced C pillar which both serves as a side collision member as well as two members running through the doors, and the C pillar acting as a rollbar”

not the fastest in the road but…im surprised at how well it keeps up with even 2021 vehicles. Gotta give Pontiac credit for that, very well designed car.
Sadly, most car manufacturers now focus on numbers and not engineering which is very disappointing.

by the way the Chrysler 300-C isn’t that much faster.
Heck the 5.7 LT1 optional with the Firebird is only a sec faster to 60 and about a sec faster in quarter mile. the 3800 is a very strong motor punches well above its weight

the 300-c is very blocky, so this surprises me

lol @Bugatti_Veyron @Psycho_Stuff or anyone else who knows japanese cars (I dont know much about them, all I know is that they are very light and at least relatively fast.
imagine if you stuck the 3800 from the firebird in a nissan 350z or even better a Miata
you would go to space lol

the 300c is pretty fat yes. it rides on the same chassis as the Charger, and the Hellcats are almost 5k pounds.
the firebird is lighter than both (but relative to its size, the firebird is VERY heavy)
the firebird is lighter but built better.

300c has a Mercedes transmission and the 5.7 hemi
its about 5 sec to 60 and quarter mile is…hold on
