RGS Mirage beware
this car competed in the 1997 JGTC championship in the GT300 class, which it shockingly won by a single point to become the other JGTC champion (the other one was the #36 TOM’S Castrol Supra)
It won the first race at Suzuka, then set the pole position at the first round at Fuji even with its win weight ballasts (and even got 2nd), taking an early lead
Later on, it would take another 2nd at Sendai (now closed) and getting 3rd at the 2nd round at Fuji
It would finish the 2nd to last race in 1st at Mine Circuit, but at that point the win ballasts were nearly too much for the S14, and it just barely clinched the championship by 1 point with a 5th place finish
Today, the Silvia S14 GT300 is owned by a private collector, where it occasionally is on display at car shows
