Your mouse gets locked and you can't move it

What is the bug?
Your mouse gets locked in the center of your screen and you can’t move it.

How often does the bug happen? (Everytime, sometimes or rarely)
Everytime. (You can recreate it very consistent)

What device did you play on? (Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox)
Pc.

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:

  1. Zoom into first person view. (while outside a vechile)
  2. Respawn your vechile. (by pressing R)
  3. Jump out.
  4. And, voila. Your camera is stuck. You can fix it by zooming out. (but the game thinks you’re in first person until you zoom out)

Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.
No. (Interface issue, only for me)*

Hello, I guess?

I added a simple video showing it.

Ok, I think I know what’s going on here. When you get into the car, I believe it is instantaneously zooming your camera out automatically, but because you didn’t zoom it out yourself, the game still thinks you’re in first person, causing the camera to remain in a first person state even after you get out of the car, and does not recalibrate until you zoom manually. This is likely a roblox thing and not CC2 causing this, but it could probably be fixed by making the camera remain at whatever position it was when exiting or entering a vehicle

I’m gonna test something in studio rq.

I figured something out. You don’t have to respawn for the glitch to occur. It’s just when you’re zoomed in and enter a vechile. (And it doesn’t happen for me in roblox studio when I use vechile seats. I’m guessing CC2 uses a custom seat module or something) I also updated the video.

It’s likely some line of code in the script making the camera auto-zoom when you sit down, and roblox itself doesn’t recognize it, which is probably why it doesn’t happen in a normal vehicle seat. I’m sure there’s a way to fix it, but I know nothing about code

I’m trying to recreate it in studio I’ll let you know if I find anything.

Video wouldn’t load for me, but it’s probably my internet. How long is that video?

It’s not your internet, it doesn’t load for neither. It’s only 10MB so I don’t think the lenght is the problem?

Guess the servers for this website are just buns. I tried to load the video for a few minutes to see if it would work and it froze the website. Had to reload

I already reported something very similar (it’s basically the same bug)

yeah same for me id rather enable shift lock and disable it kinda a bug but its easy to fix

Ye that’s pretty much the same. But it’s kinda annoying when you can’t click anything on computer, on mobile you can still click on GUI right?

What if you’re in first person for roleplaying or something? You step into your car and it’s glitched. EVERY time you do it.
