well roblox isn’t your ordinary platform or some people straight up call it “game” which is wrong. I’ve been on roblox ever since 2012, with a huge break in 2013-2014, the reason was not having a pc at all. Then on christmas of 2014 i finally got a computer, and logged on my long-lost account. Unfortunatly it got hijacked by scammers, roblox was getting bigger, way bigger and i saw the bad side of it. That was the first time it happened, but luckily i was able to log onto my alt account which had some tix in it, not much obviously, but at least it was well, something. In the year 2015 i didn’t play roblox all the time like before, that was because i found some other games like, minecraft for an example. It lasted until about 3 months later of this i jist thought of being less connected to the world than before. I realised roblox is a really social game, if not the most social game. My friends were playing roblox for just a year (2014) when i invited them, they were like me for these 2 months, then they just completly forgot about it, which for me at the time, wasn’t weird. In 2016 i saw how big the roblox community was, the youtubers, just everything. I was actually asking myself the same question, “When will it all end??”, i always thought i’d be somewhere around 2017, for weird reasons. In 2017 i was making free modeled games that got thousands of visits, o even made robux, thanks to the good side of the popularity, i realised that being popular is both bad and good, especially when i got a total of 10k robux made from my effortless games. Well my account got hacked, this time i was “backstabbed” by a friend, he asked me for my password, he knew it before and he had access to my account. Around my birthday he decided to waste my robux. I found out when it was HIS birthday, but well “oh it was soo long ago…”, his birtday is on april the 7th (He changed over the years, now he’s a really nice friend, if not my best). I also was using exploits in 2017, which i regret, but not only that… i also stole a small devs account, but it was entirely his fault, because he literally trusted me when i said “Hey man can you give your password i wanted to give you a payout.” I made a fake alt for exploiting which i once again forget, and i literally had 2 personalities, one the main and the other one was the alt. I gave him the account back, yes, i just gave it back to him (bonus: i stopped exploiting ever since this happened, i also cancelled the “second personality” and that guy knew it later on). In 2018 i got my main account banned, i had a youtube channel with almost 1k subs and i recorded videos of me on my alt, i also made some stuff on my main, and i also linked the channel in my main accounts profile, that ended with a permanent ban because i had 2-3 bans in the past too. I thankfully made an alt before this crap, well i got banned again for weird reasons, i thought to myself “tf how do they know it’s me” i was shocked but then i remembered that i gave this account to another exploiter friend and somehow he got banned literally the 3rd day i was using it. I then decided to not use my old alts at all and just made a plain new one. Which is now my account.
I have many of my friends fron 2012 on roblox, we never met irl, yet they’re the beautiful roses someone will need to pick up if you know what i mean. I made some crappy free model games too because i’m not talented at all, i didn’t make it for money, just for fun. I didn’t make a penny off of them, then came 2019 and they redesigning the whole game… i wasn’t cool with it at all. 2020 had more redesigns, which made shit worse.
i’d say about 10 years, if this redesigning shit is still going to be there. If that’d never happen i would give about 17 years, no joke. But still it could be very different, maybe they’ll rethink their dumbass mistakes that make no fucking sense like changing bc to premium, making the whole leaderboard filled with “P’s”. Also redesigning the in-game ui would be a good thing,if it didn’t make SHIT WORSER, like you need to scroll all the time to see the player list, like tf did they think lol?. Removing tix and guests was a good thing, i’m not the type of person that wants the old times to be back, but actually, i kinda want tho, but not everything. I just want the community to change, almost entirely. Nowadays it’s just kids feeling adult, you can’t call them kid or they’ll straight up copy n paste a XXUZIGUNSHOOTER69DISSERGAMEFUCKSHITXXpoopoo rap.
