i’ve held too many atw records to count, however here’s a few:
- getting the veyron wr with it completely stock
- getting a 2:33 with the silver lightning
- getting a 2:40 with the king of understeer (lamborghini vgt)
- getting wr with the exo speeder and leaving like a 15 second gap to 2nd

consider the following:
the ramp car has better acceleration, and lighter weight than the RX-8
the ramp car is only really D-class due to its ridiculously low top speed
so my thesis: your time is only better with a D-class car because it’s literally only D-class because of its low weight and top speed, with much better acceleration
I think it would be much more fair if you used a car with similar statistics due to how much of an advantage higher acceleration is with lighter weight

Dude, I can drive this track in a similar car much faster! And in a Tesla Roadster I can generally get out of 50 seconds per lap.
