Answer: UI buttons and scrollers keep blocking me from zoom out first person

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:
- open a ui like mission hub or inventory
- make your view first person
Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.

If yes, screenshot all red and yellow text in the developer console and post it here. (Open console by pressing F9 on computer, or by saying /Console in the chat)

note: you can zoom out by pressing O on computer, but it’s very inconventient.

i dont really see how this is a bug, pretty normal behaviour
yes its annoying, but like you said you can just hit O or you can hit escape and then start scrolling out and exit the escape menu

technically it kinda is a bug with how the UI is laid out, I’d call it more of a UI design flaw
should still be mitigated in some way

id say this is more of a suggestion to disable the scroller when in first person which i have seen some games do, but otherwise its just the default roblox behavior which is to scroll
this is the only thing that makes touchscreen even remotely useful for computers

if you have reduced motion enabled then yeah that method wont work. also, probably should have mentioned, you have to keep scrolling when you close the escape menu. this is easier with a free-scroll capable mouse such as the logitech g502 but can for sure still be done with a more rigid scroll wheel
