Time Attack Mitsubishi Minicab

Top Gear Review

“Lamborghinis are played out – this is where it’s at,” said TG’s Rob Dahm while strapped comfortably into the passenger seat of perhaps the greatest thing you’ll see this week.

And that’s a modified 1991 Mitsubishi Minicab Kei truck, built by Shawn Bassett, owner of Attacking The Clock Racing; a modifying shop based in Florida.

Bassett said it’s “stupid”, but Top Gear heartily disagrees – this tiny, angry little tyke is brilliant. It’s got a tiny three-cylinder engine. A four-speed manual gearbox. Four-link rear and fully adjustable front suspension. -Top Gear
