What is this?
Snow Plow missions are a winter-exclusive type of mission where the player will have to use a metal plow or wedge plow to push a certain amount of snow away. Cars without an add-on plow option will not be able to complete this type of mission, with some exceptions. For example, the Scania Snow Plow’s heavy-duty plow will be able to do this.
How does it work?
The player will have to drive on snow with a plow attached and cover a certain distance (usually >5km). The snow that is pushed will pile up on metal plows and slide off wedge plows. At the same time, this will reveal a white grass texture hidden beneath the snow for 5 minutes. If you cross white grass, you won’t get any progress.
What could also get added is Snow Plow competitions. This works similar to most competitions, as it’s highest-distance-wins.
Exceptions
While most cars with a plow attachment can push away snow, there are some cars that can’t due to high plow position. This includes but isn’t limited to the following vehicles:
- UAZ 469
- Reliant TW9
- EXR Ar2
- Liebherr 524 (default plow is too high)
- Humvee M15A1
- Chevrolet 3100 “Vendetta”
- and more
