So I said I was gonna start a new series probably and yeah, here it is.
Currently there is over 60 proposals of which are used to hide the “true” SCP-001 from being leaked to everyone.
I will do about 5 of them in this topic and cover more in later topics. Spoiler alert: I will go from the more popular to the least popular Proposal.
Before we start, I wanna make a description of words that aren’t typically common to be used and can be vague when heard so here’s some definitions:
Cognito hazard: Hazard usually caused by one of the 5 human sense, whether it be the sense of touch, smell, sight, hearing or taste. Best example is SCP-096, a Cognito hazard mainly triggered by the sense of sight.
Proposal: Term used for SCPs that are presumed to be possible outcome for being the true SCP-001. Meant to hide the actual SCP-001. Usually, a proposal will be given the name of the person who created it, referred as a “Code Name” also acting as Proposals. Ex: Dr. Clef Proposal
O5 Council: Leader of the foundation and are among the most powerful humans to exist secretly dominating the world.
Group of interest: Usually a group that is rival to the Foundation. Ex: CI (Chaos Insurgency), GOC (Global Occult Coalition)
MTF: Mobile Task Force, military units divided into multiple division, all with different objective to protect the Foundation and the world from potential anomalous danger. Ex: Nu-7 / V-7 (Hammer Down), E-11 (Nine-Tailed-Fox)
[REDACTED]: Information that has been hidden either due to privacy reason (like a person name), clearance level not corresponding to access such data or to prevent false information to be spread among the data.
[EXPUNGED]: Same as [REDACTED], but for data that doesn’t apply anymore or is expired and no longer viable.
Ethics Committee: Group in charge of minimizing sacrifice and keeping normalcy in the foundation. Placed at a high ranking in the Foundation.
Bio-Hazard: Biological danger for human organism usually used for infectious SCP such as SCP-008 or SCP-409 for example.
Info hazard: Hazard caused by disseminated information leading to self-harm or harm to others
Memetic Hazard: Sub Hazard of Cognito hazard, generally cause by some information to affect the body in terms of how it thinks and can cause death in certain cases. Usually used to prevent classified to documents to be leaked by personnel under the required clearance.
K-Class Scenario: A scenario caused by an SCP / SCP event that alters reality and has a high likely chance to wipe all life of the world as we know.
Apollyon: Mainly used for anomalies that pose a threat to humanity as we know and that can’t be contained. Usually reserved for the most dangerous SCPs. Apollyon SCPs are mainly events resulting in a K-Class End of the World scenario.
Keter: You guessed it, Keter SCPs are the one that are a pain in the ass to contain and take a bunch of resources to just delay their breach. Note that not every Keter Class SCPs are dangerous, some are harmless and helpful, but are hard to either contain or locate due to their unpredictable behaviors.
Euclid: SCP that is relatively simple to contain, but require efforts and resources to contain them. Some are more friendly while others are extremely violent. Due to their unpredictable nature, they tend to breach occasionally. Euclid Class is mostly for sentient anomalies, but can also be for objects and others.
Safe: SCP that is easy to contain and require little resources. Usually objects with anomalous properties. While there can be sentient anomalies in this class, they are usually harmless and helpful towards us. This means that if you contain them in a box, they won’t breach UNLESS it is manually breached (Which will leads to the breacher going Rogue and lead to their termination). Keep in mind that not all Safe class SCPs are harmless, some represent dangerous hazard towards humans.
Rogue / Rouge: Designation given to staff breaking the Foundation laws such as breaching SCPs or even letting the test subjects escape. If someone goes rogue, 2 outcomes can occur. 1: Termination. 2: Downgrade in ranks (ex: From Head Researcher to Junior Researcher). In some case, there has been report of staff that were high rankings and were later found to be demoted to being a test subject.
Alright, that’s it for the definition, there is certainly more, but I will explain them later on. Now time for the proposals.

Here we go,
1#: CODE NAME: S.D. Locke Proposal - When Day Breaks
Object class: Apollyon
K-Class Scenario: XK-Δ-Class “Solar Singularity” End of the World Scenario.
Imagine a world where the sun becomes our biggest enemy, first 24 hours result in already ~6.8 Billion casualties. In this scenario, the sun color transform to a whitish color to a deep red causing ANY life form to melt into giant piles of flesh, bones and other tissues of organic matter. After melting, individuals will find other melted organism and fuse with them and forming to what’s called by the Foundation, SCP-001-A which are essentially big pile of half melted organism that fused to become a giant blob. While being hostile, they DO NOT directly harm their victims, instead, they will try to remove any protective clothing that prevent them from getting any of the sun’s light. When they manage to get all the protective layer off, they will drag you into the light to then make you one of their own. Oh and by the way, you don’t die, you remain alive (partially) and the only reason to why you do is to lure other into the sun thinking it’s their long lost relatives that they will manage to find if they go outside. One of the main issue when it comes to SCP-001-A encounters aren’t the fact they can find you no matter where you hide, but are also extremely resistant to most form of attack, only being killable via fire, thus why flamethrowers are the most effective way to survive in most case, weapons like firearms and explosive will only slow them down, but not completely. If for any reason, you got exposed to the sun, there is no way to “cure” it or even slow the melting process, anyone with any amount of time exposed to the sun are to be deemed lost forever. Now how to survive in this situation? Get as much thick clothing as possible and only go out at night if possible. Avoid populated areas as much as possible and seek the undergrounds for the best protection. The deeper the better and always have an emergency exit. Do note that while the night might appear like the ideal way to go without any protection, keep in mind that since the moons reflects the sun’s light back on earth, it will do the same effects as if it was in the day. If you ever need to move, prioritize air transportation to avoid instance of SCP-001-A. Find any weapons that can create fire, this can help delay attacks from the blobs.

2#: CODE NAME: Dr. Clef Proposal - Gate Guardian
Object class: Euclid / Keter
K-Class Scenario: PATMOS XK-class end-of-the-world scenario.
The gate guardian is a massive humanoid made out entirely of flames and his size is estimated to be around 320 meters tall and has 4 “wings” that are yet to be identified in diameters. The temperatures of the Guardian are estimated to be around 15 Million degrees Celsius, for comparison, the sun’s core is around that temperature. The gate guardian also hold a flaming sword that is designated SCP-001-2. It is presumed to be the protector of the what we think could be the “Garden of Eden” of which the Guardian protects from intruders. Any surveillance are to be done from about 10 KM away to prevent any accidents. If anything attempts to go past 1 KM from the Guardian, the Guardian will shout messages saying to leave the area fast. If this is not done, the Guardian will use his sword to destroy anything in the 1 KM radius.

3#: CODE NAME: Tufto Proposal - The Scarlet King
Object Class: Keter Safe
The Scarlet King is an interdimensional entity that is currently self contained. At the moment, it is separated by several universe that the Scarlet King is simultaneously in. So far, all the attempts from “him?” to enter the prime dimension have been a failure. It is estimated that for over 300 years thousands of years that the Scarlet King tried to enter it. Anyone that has information about the Scarlet King excluding personnel working for this SCP are to be terminated or memory wiped to prevent the growth of the strength of the Scarlet King. Ever since we know that the Scarlet King is an interdimensional entity, we got to know it want to eradicate ALL life form in EVERY universe including ours. SCP-001 is described to be a giant red creature wearing a crown / other headdress to signify loyalty among others. It is presumed that SCP-682 is one of the child of the Scarlet King. All group that tried to bring SCP-001 into the prime dimension have been destroyed by joints SCP-GOC operations. Now I won’t go too much in details, but basically, SCP-231 and SCP-2317 are apparently related to the Scarlet King of which I don’t see any link between the 3 other than when I presumed were part of the event called “Children of the Scarlet King” of which was destroyed with the help of the GOC and Foundation efforts.

4#: CODE NAME: Dr. Gears Proposal - The Prototype
Object Class: Unknown (Presumed to have been Keter, but reclassified as neutralized)
(Spoiler alert: This one will be relatively short due to how much info is given and also I might run out of space to write articles)
The Prototype is a humanoid entity that is around 6’5” tall, weight at around 100 lbs. It has a grey-brown skin with the appearance of having weak body structure and a impossible body shape described as very long and thin arms and legs. Being twice the length of the torso. It was designated Keter due to it’s nature of being EXTREMLY aggressive toward humans. But after a while, The Prototype started to be weaker and on August 17, 1961. The Prototype died presumably of old age and was later sent to Site-87 for archive.

5#: CODE NAME Jonathan Ball Proposal (Yes this is the actual name) - Sheaf of Papers
Object Class: Keter
Sheaf of Papers are details about SCP Documents for the containment of the anomaly, procedure for breaches and so on. Each time it is opened, a new SCP is found and potentially captured by Foundation MTF squads. It is still unknown whether or not the SCP is created or is being lead to it’s discovery. It is strictly not allowed to access the containment of the Sheaf unless authorization from all O5. The opening of such thing is ONLY done by O5 officers (not O5 Council) having a special clearance for this to prevent any accident related to new SCPs.
