“trust me bro it’s a countach”
me when i hear the sound of an ls1 coming from it:
History
So apparently this British guy called Gary Ward thought it would be funny if he made a kit Countach into a GT1 car. He did a pretty good job (as you can tell by the pictures) and decided to enter this into the 1998 British Super GT Championship, in which it DNF’d 7 times during practice. Later it managed to get 8th, but by then Gary was done with the Mirage and sold it off to a Sri Lankan team participating in the GT500 JGTC series. They proceeded to DNF 2 races and didn’t qualify 2 more. After that, the Mirage was moved to GT300 because of how bad it was, then it proceeded to DNF 3 times, failed to qualify 2 times, and didn’t start once. This car was literally just tragedy after tragedy after tragedy, and didn’t win a single race.

CC2: What it is best at
Racing - Out of the box, it has similar stats to the Lamborghini Diablo, high handling and somewhat low acceleration. This car is best used on midsized tracks, as the low top speed could leave it being dusted by the Maserati MC12. In S class, it is a somewhat mid car for a high S class, and is best used on tight tracks. Do not push it into X class, where it will easily be outclassed by other supercars.
Derby - At first, the car has a high defense score but a weak attack score. Upgrades greatly improve the acceleration, allowing it to be able to evade most cars in Bomb Tag or be able to brawl in FFA. Adding a plow helps increase the already high defense score.
Overall, the Mirage is great for both racing and derby.
