RGB Sliders

Basically, RGB sliders to make a colour for your vehicle. Sure, it would be a bit confusing, but we aren’t limited on the colours we can choose. For this to work though, Premium Colours needs to be sacrificed in the process.

Hex Code in other color pickers not only "RGB Hex Sliders" - Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts - Affinity | Forum
Maybe even put a text box or something where you could put hex codes.

[EDIT]: Replace the Premium Colours gamepass with RGB gamepass (or keep the name) but instead of the premium colours we have, it is an RGB slider that looks a bit like the image. Basically, you get infinite colours to choose from, instead of 15-20 new ones that are just better looking versions of the basic colours.

as an extra colour owner if the premium ones get turned into colour switch paint I’d be very happy
but I’d rather have that as a customizable material rather than a separate colour set

as for this, insanely cool

another good addition would be a 0-100 reflectiveness slider for all materials

its likely that some colors are copyrighted, and some players would use the colors to make an exact replica of a car, which could get cc2 in a lot of trouble. another problem is that the parts are colored off a list of colors, instead of rgb/cmyk values, cause of server storage problems.

for example if you were making a restaurant or somethin and you used McDonalds colors, then you would likely be violating copyright laws. If your wondering what values the colors are:
“The red color is Pantone PMS 485 C, with the hex code #DA291C, RGB values of 218, 41, 28, and CMYK values of 0, 30, 94, 0. The RGB values for McDonald’s yellow are 255, 199, 44, with the hex code #FFC72C.”

Also their is only 216 compatible colors on roblox, (one of the reasons its so hard to see in the dark)

copyrighted colours?

sounds like absolute bs to me on the same tier as copyrighted car specs

engine limitations are more believable, but again mrt even got chameleon paint to work (and rgb has been a thing since forever)

by means they aren’t copyrighted but sorta trade marked. kinda. idk. but for a color to be “trade marked” it must have some other meaning and it must be used commonly by the company. A good example in cars is Lambo’s notorious yellow color. It has a meaning:

“Giallo Inti is the quintessential Lamborghini yellow that radiates energy, speed, and passion. This bright yellow color is designed to turn heads on the road, reflecting the sun’s rays with a deep, lustrous finish. Giallo Inti is for the Lamborghini enthusiast who wants to embody the brand’s iconic vibrancy.”

and its used a lot by Lambo.
