The BTools zones in the game are just, bad. They limit how far you can expand a part often leading to haphazard placement. Additionally they’re extremely janky with some borders being really hard to see due to their placement, whilst stopping moving parts like a brick wall. There’s also very little zones in which you can build, halting possibilities even further.
Thus, they lead to making it more difficult to use BTools to their fullest potential. An easy resolve for these issues would be to just remove all of the BTools zones but because of the game’s limitations, there needs to be a part limit though.

We need this however the build zones are placed in flat areas only so it would be nice if we could create our own map or even go past the no-go-zone-facility-teleport-barrier-thingy

I think there’s a reason why it’s a thing, probably because of lag issues but I’m not a dev after all

Who cares, it’ll be useful during the winter, I won’t have to pay such high heating bills. Just log on to cc2 and go to btools.
I addressed this with the addition of the global part count. If somewhere were to put way too much parts in 1 place and their server crashes because of it, that’s on them.

No, everyone should be able to play in good conditions

Okay, then why have builders not able to build in good conditions? A global part count would still limit the amount of lag that can occur from the placed parts. If someone were to stupendously place ten-thousand parts on the same position and have smoke effects on them, that kind of feels like them trying to get into a troubled situation.
Actually, why not add something that can wipe out all parts placed on the map at once? That could save situations like that from permanently bricking a server.

Because if you spent months building something really huge, but at the end you realize your device can’t handle it and crashes, your only solution would be to annihilate all of this work
But otherwise you can still directly ask the devs about that so they can justify their choice
