Razors Edge is unnaturally light

Can the bug be found among the known bugs in the trello Trello? If so, upvote it there instead!

What is the bug?
Answer: the razors edge car (lo res car) is unnaturally light, noticable in the pressure pit and in the pulse cannon

How often does the bug happen? (Everytime, sometimes or rarely)
Answer: Everytime

What device did you play on? (Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox)
Answer: Xbox

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:

  1. Spawn the Razors Edge
  2. Drive to the pressure pit or the pulse cannon
  3. Activate the crushers
  4. The car will behave wierdly

Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.

If yes, screenshot all red and yellow text in the developer console and post it here. (Open console by pressing F9 on computer, or by saying /Console in the chat)

this is unfixable if you want to keep the weight accurate to irl. this is a roblox issue, light things float

Well… The better word to use here would be bouyant
The car is unnaturally bouyant, but it’s not a major issue as games aren’t supposed to be realistic plus who uses this vehicle often enough to be annoyed?

i guess that’s what happens when your car is somewhat shaped like a boat and is very light

Ok im gonna do my nerd here but basically when there is an object in water, air will create a resistance against water causing some object to float but if the density of air is too low, it will just cause it to sink. In this case, the car weight and high capacity of air make the car extremely easy to make it float. Water is denser than air. Side note, this is how boat usually float by having the same amount of air as the submerged part of the ship and cause it to float whatever the weight is applied

Btw that’s not how it works
The vehicle didn’t have air in it and even if that’s the case the car clearly got fully submerged and it has holes where the air can escape, from what i know, metals and other materials used in cars are denser than water and the shape of the car doesn’t work like a boat because again, lots of gaps and a flat bottom with a center of mass not aligned with the cars center so naturally the car would tilt, allowing the air to escape and the water to flood it and sink it, the titanic didn’t float back up when it sank… so should this car
But Roblox is the one to blame…
Should i delete this topic?

Roblox doesn’t have fluid physics so things will float even when it could otherwise sink by water ingress
