Today’s car is the 2016 Arrinera Hussarya GT, a Polish project supercar with a naturally aspirated 6.2-litre GM LS3 V8 producing 650 hp and 597 lb-ft of torque with the engine mated to a Hewland LLS 6-speed sequential transmission.
The car has a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h) and can hit 0-60 in 3 seconds.
Despite the Hussarya being claimed as Poland’s first supercar, in 2012 a Polish radio and online journalist named Jacek Balkan asserted his belief of the car not being original and instead being a replica Lamborghini with parts from an Opel Corsa and Audi A6. His statement infuriated Arrinera and they sued him for slander, but Balkan was acquitted.
In 2021, the project was ceased due to funding problems stated according to a quarterly report dated November 8.
