honestly the two most difficult aspects of drawing cars are proportions and perspective, it’s very easy for one small misalignment to distort so much of the car

One thing that might help is working with a full sketch, and then covering it in a layer of colour pencil: it gives you a chance to look at the whole car, and eventually correct stuff like the proportions (or the rear wheels having way too much camber)

proportions aren’t usually an issue for me but the issues was that I accidentally switched references halfway through sketching so it’s a mix of two different perspectives

What I meant when I said I switched references (I drew this over a couple of days and kept exiting the tab with the picture so I had to search for it over and over). That’s the reason for the rear canard structures and diffuser being… comically large
I was too far into coloring when I made the realization but it didn’t look THAT bad so I finished it
This is fricking nice, I wonder how long this took to draw
I do the same lol, when I mess up, I still finish it.
