Right now, races are awfully balanced. I want to gouge my eyes out when someone chooses S class and everyone picks top-of-the-line hypercars. Why the hell is an entry-level Mclaren in the same class as a maxed out Bugatti La Voiture Noire? It doesn’t make any sense.
Comparing these two vehicles, a fully upgraded Mclaren GT and a stock Bugatti La Voiture Noire, I think it’s pretty easy to spot what I’m trying to say here. The La Voiture Noire is ranked lower, even though it’s better in basically every way. If you were to put these two cars in ANY race, the Bugatti would win 99/100 times, if not every single time. What I’m trying to say is that S class is extremely unbalanced, with cars that should be in S class, and cars that should be in X class. Forza games have solved this problem by splitting the S class into two classes, S1 and S2. Adding something similar would completely fix this problem, and make it so that S class is bearable to race in.
Something else that I would like to add is that all Bugattis are ranked extremely low in S-class because of how heavy they are. They all should be ranked at least 96+ when they are stock, so the performance rating should become less dependent on the weight stat.

revive, I still think that this is a very relevant issue with a lot of the cars ingame (McLaren W1, Gavanni Ezio, Batmobile, etc.)
tbf the cars dont handle the same way they do irl because of the chassis being used for all of the cars

That’s beside the point. It’s still worse in almost every way but is rated higher than the bugatti
and honestly I think it’s probably more relevant now than it has been in the past
i think theres is very much more cars with “very good race balance“, we have a bucotti bodine, that have a 99 race class with top speed of 500 kmh, 18.9 accel, and 19.1 handling, and a alotto evolution x, that have only a 372 kmh top speed, 18 accel on best tuning, 17.6 handling, and its in 99 s class too, lol
