Possibly a leaderboard bug?

What is the bug?
Answer: Possibly a bug with the race leaderboard. I recently got a score with a Summit Katahdin on the Island Circuit track that could’ve gotten me the record holder title, but there’s been a score at the top that’s slower than my time.

How often does the bug happen? (Everytime, sometimes or rarely)
Answer: Everytime I got a score capable of first place (as quick as 32.399s).

What device did you play on? (Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox)
Answer: Tablet

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:

  1. I selected the Summit Katahdin car at the racing start/finish line outside of row 3.
  2. The mode was set to time trial.
  3. Island Circuit was selected as the race track.
  4. I did the time trial for 5 laps multiple times.
  5. When I got a fast enough time that could have been at #1, I went to check the leaderboard and saw a slower time there which isn’t mine, which remained even with my faster time sitting in #2.

Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.
Yes/No: No

If yes, screenshot all red and yellow text in the developer console and post it here. (Open console by pressing F9 on computer, or by saying /Console in the chat)

This is a known bug and it’s due to how the leaderboard displays times - it does not display decimals with leading zeros correctly, and instead displays them as trailing zeros, so that time that is at #1 is actually 32.098, and not 32.980.

@STREnergy Thanks for the heads up. Now I’ll go and try to beat that score!
