Platina upgrade reward not giving full platina reward

Can the bug be found among the known bugs in the trello Trello ? If so, upvote it there instead!

What is the bug?
Answer: The platina upgrade reward you get for upgrading a car, doesnt give the full reward. Even is scraps is used to do this only
Proof below

How often does the bug happen? (Everytime, sometimes or rarely)
Answer: everytime

What device did you play on? (Computer, Phone, Tablet or Xbox)
Answer: computer

What steps do you need to take for it to happen? List them in very high detail:

  1. Upgrade a car using only scraps
  2. look at the reward that you should get
  3. buy the last upgrade.
  4. notice that the reward given is lower than what you should have gotten

Is the bug related to GUI/Interface on the screen? Or did the bug only appear for you? Check yes if the bug didn’t happen for everyone in the server at the same time.

If yes, screenshot all red and yellow text in the developer console and post it here. (Open console by pressing F9 on computer, or by saying /Console in the chat)

Did you spend credits on any upgrades? If you use credits instead of parts, the value will be lower.

I did read it but thats strange, i upgraded a lot of cars just with scraps but it never happened to me

Can you record a video the next time you’re about to purchase the last upgrade? (In the video, first show what the reward says you should get, then purchase the last upgrade with scraps)

Hello. As the update dropped. I dont notice it happening anymore. I did check everytime if the amount was correct. And you replied to me on discord that i need to use scraps to get the full reward. but i did that as mentioned, Thanks however!

Found it happening again on the bucotti remontoire. Did not record it. Will do for other cars that are supposed to give 1k+ platina, because it only gave me 690 platina.

Also good to know. That it says you have to use scraps only to get the full displayed amount. Which i am doing, What you highlighted can matter, but it will just change the displayed amount that you will be receiving I assume. And that’s not what I’m getting

Thanks. I replicated the exact scenarios you showed and was able to find what the issue was. It will be fixed in a patch soon, but in the meantime you can avoid this by purchasing one of the regular spoilers instead of the exclusive spoilers (Avoid the bat spoiler and christmas spoilers)
