Ok, maybe not reforms. It’s probably controversial, but here goes.
Chipset tuning: increases acceleration, and unlocks gear ratio tuning (consider what chipset tuning is)
Motor cooling: allows for a higher speed limit and increases acceleration
Ignition system: causes the car to start up quicker (startup time will stay intact for every car until ignition system is applied)
Turbocharger: same as motor cooling but heavier on acceleration
Cams and valves, exhaust system, engine block, turbo power, and weight distribution stay the same.
Jet vehicle upgrades stay the same
Electric vehicles
Motor cooling: allows for higher top speed
Other upgrades stay the same

turbo power is for cars that already have a turbo by default
except the elise for some reason

ngl would kinda slap
i like a challenge for a more refined performance patch update

I thought of it because some things don’t just affect acceleration. A more dynamic system would allow the game to be a little more interesting in customization.

We need twin turbos as an add-on
+4 parts, has option to stick out of hood (would look SICK on a hellcat)
Increases accel even more (for example, if 1 turbo adds 2.38 accel it will then be doubled)
Make it worth 1K - 4K credits so it’s difficult to get (no p2w either)
Hide it below rocket booster on the add-on menu
I’m just building off the concept of twin turbos
