Nissan CCS200 Collegiate

So today we have something a bit special. As a quick sidenote, this isn’t related to my series of cars I own, which I probably won’t continue posting about too much due to some recent controversies that were caused by me talking about my highly abnormal life (Sidenote for the mods, dw, I will not be bringing it up again). Anyway, before I veer off, here are the photos, and btw, I don’t actually know the specs, no specsheets exist as far as I’m aware, but I will do some more research:

Now, I’m gonna start off by advising you guys to download these photos, since they are literally the ONLY photos of this bus that exist. You will not be able to find any other photos of it, other than on here, me making this topic is literally adding back to the internet. So, why do no photos of this bus exist? Well, because only 1 was ever built, making this on par with that street legal R33 LM for the rarest Nissan to exist, except this one is a completely unique chassis and body, and still gets used and isn’t hidden in a museum. So personally, to me the Collegiate is the rarest Nissan ever.

This bus has been on the school runs in the hands of different owners, the livery it’s in in the photos is the livery of it’s previous owner, since it was sold on Trade Me back in June for the mere price of $30k, to a private owner, who intends to keep the bus in good condition (thankfully not house bus it), as they collect buses, to keep them in existence (shoutout to that guy) quite cheap for something so rare aswell, I was certainly jealous!

Anyway, to answer one last thing, “Vic, how the hell did you get the photos if none exist?” Well, these were the images from the Trade Me listing, a few days prior to the bus being listed, I had done a solid 3 hours of research looking for an image, so ig it was a stroke of some really good luck. The listing was up for maybe a week before it was bought, and that was more than enough time for me to download the images. Anyway, enough of my yapping, that’s the actual rarest Nissan ever for ya!

Nissan made quite a few extremely rare models, however theyre all NZDM, since they had a plant in NZ back in the day, it closed in 1998. The bus on my pfp is a 1/5 Nissan TCR240 Intrepid, specifically chassis #1, took that photo when it pulled up to my school for a school run, was gonna make the suggestion then but Alan stole it (me still angy abt it). Getting that photo made me 1 happy girl tho, still my fav car photo.

Anyway, ive also made suggestion on the Nissan Scorpion SBR180, the Scorpion in general is the most popular of the NZDM buses, and the only one you can find overseas (Airbus bought 6 SBR180’s, and they are still used to this day to transport workers at their biggest plant in Toulouse, France). I plan on making more suggestions on the rare Nissan buses of NZ, but my life is busy, so me dont have much time. anyway, ima stop yapping, i could go on hours lol

I think the craziest thing from this aside from you seeing that bus in person is that Nissan had a plant in New Zealand
