So, I was finally able to unlock this phone and I’m able to tell all of Josh’s friends that he isn’t with us anymore. I’m not here to answer any questions, just here to give a simple explanation to any of his friends on here. I’m going to say this as simply as possible, but Josh was suicidal for a while and he just never told us. I won’t say exactly what happened but I’m sure you can figure that out. So, if there is anyway you guys can anonymize this account like on other regular forums, please do. In case you want to know who wrote this, it’s his older brother. This hurt me to write these messages so thank you for any and all support .

Hey guys, I just want to inform you all that Josh is still with us. I’m not lying, and I promise that this is true. I found him in Pet Simulator 99, and I had a chat with him there. He confirmed that he was Josh, aka TotallyProCrusher. However, his mental health isn’t good, so he’s been doing awful. Please treat him with respect and dignity. Don’t get mad at him for posting this, please. You don’t know what he’s going through.
I have a very short 20 second video just confirming I did in fact talk with him. I would make it longer, but the 50MB limit couldn’t let me.
Before you ask, yes I did have permission to post this.

He told me why he did this, however it remains confidential between me and him. It is not for attention, and it’s for another reason. His mental health is really bad though so it is not a lie. Please just respect this guy he’s going through a lot right now.

You gotta remember that in a situation like this the chances that he meant it are really high but he just couldn’t do it, whether from someone else helping him through or realizing the outcome himself, or that it’s not worth it. You also gotta remember that in a situation like this you absolutely want attention because that’s how you get people to notice and help in a time which you can’t help yourself.
I respect him immensely for at least wanting to say goodbye and trying to reach out by contacting the forum, whether it was a direct cry for help or not, and we should all just be grateful he’s okay.

Yeah no the likelihood of that is way lower than the former, I get that it may be hard to grasp the idea that people actually have problems mentally but it does happen.
If he was doing it for clout that would be messed up but that’s very unlikely.

He keeps doing it because he was (most likely) serious at the time. The chances of someone trying again after the first time are extremely high without proper help.
And to respond to your second statement, people can hide emotions and bottle things up for a really long time, you usually dont even know someone has stuff going on in their life unless they directly show or tell you.
