surprised this hasn’t been suggested at all yet, but I’m not complaining because this is a very sweet car
the one thing that sets this car apart from all the different SL models of this generation is that this is the only model that used a V12, as other models used a 6 or 8 cylinder engine, and if you’ve seen Mercedes V12s used in other cars, you’ll know how nice these engines are
what isn’t quite as nice is the fact that these were only able to be mounted to an automatic 5-speed gearbox, but I suppose that shifting all the time while cruising in one of these probably isn’t very fun if you’re just a rich person that just wants a nice ride
now this isn’t quite an AMG (if anything, the AMG tuned variants of these cars are very rare), but I think it is just as cool as one due to the V12 it uses
