Hi. I am quite disappointed that mobile, the most accessible platform, isn’t getting manual gear shifting. I have already come up with a proposal:
The red blobs are where the Powerups would go (allowing for two parallel Powerups too yay) and the white blobs are where the gear shifting buttons would go.
Whether the Powerups go above or below the gear shift buttons should be up to the user through the settings.
Whether the Powerups be above the steering arrows or above the pedals should be up to the user through another setting.
This system, though involving releasing steering to change gears, at least allows other players from different socioeconomic situations to enjoy more accurate vehicle control.

Are you a regular mobile player?
Yes. Though I do have a computer and a gamepad but mobile is way more convenient. You know, it’s more portable. And regarding reaching the controls, anyone can reach probably.

Then why do you want to change the powerups?
It makes more sense to me. They could be interchangeable. But if you’re changing the controls for Powerups to make way for gear shifting on gamepad and keyboard you might aswell change placement on mobile too.
Oh wait. Are you asking why I want to change power up colour to red? Well I don’t. It is just to indicate placement.

Look. That doesn’t matter. Face the fact that many people who have roblox only have phones or tablets.
And most of them aren’t hardcore gamers
