Also how can u have a sequential and a CVT at the same time (I mean my car has that but that’s just to make it feel more sporty, and it’s not a race car)

DAF made some racing efforts back when they still made cars, mostly rally/rallycross and I think some lower end formulas

See I would disagree that CVTs are better but when my car had engine issues the CVT kept the rpms at like 1100 rpm as I cruised home at 45 mph, preventing damage and getting me home
Any other car would’ve been revving higher and it could’ve led to damage

It is the worst transmission but if only the FIA didn’t ban CVT transmissions on F1 cars then CVT’s would’ve been improved greatly.

but yeah dual clutches are meta for racing but CVT’s hold a lot of potential.
