Is it worth returning to CC2 again?

i feel like i’ve accomplished everything i’ve ever wanted in this game. i have annihilator, platina overlord, maxed basically every car in the game, etc.

i’m just posting this because i really wanna know if there’s any new content worth returning for. i remember that in my final days, all i was doing was playing for 10 minutes a day max just to do the MP missions to get the limited cars.

i know i’m good at doing long, monotonous tasks, but that’s only for hours at a time, not for a few minutes spread across multiple days. perhaps panwellz has added something new that’s worth grinding for? this is all i’m interested about really. just new features that won’t take me like an hour of playtime to finish in total.

about my derby spreadsheet, that’s no longer something i will be updating, as i cannot be bothered to wait for 50 event shops to collect all of the limited cars again. someone else can update that in the meantime.

my main motive is that i still wanna make use of the little free time that i have left due to me having to study for my A Level courses. for the first week, i used it to maintain the Mining Simulator wiki as that’s another game that i really liked, but the devs banned me because i abused a bug that i myself reported (more on that in the spoiler below).

essentially, me and my friend encountered a bug where upon every rejoin, the game rewarded leaderboard crates for some reason (these contain the new best skin in the game and supposedly the new best pet too), as we had both been on the leaderboards at some point. i set up an overnight rejoin macro on my phone to see just how much abuse potential it has, and i was able to get over 1700 crates.

when i reported it to modmail the first time, i provided them with all of the details, especially the console log. they “fixed” the bug, but when i rejoined, i was still getting leaderboard crates. all they did was remove the console warnings and nothing else. this is not what got me banned though, rather it’s the sequence of events that followed that got me banned.

after finding out the bug wasn’t fixed, by this point i had a lot of negative attitudes towards Rumble Studios in general. me and my friend constantly criticized the devs in DMs (mainly nert, we slandered him a lot because of him allegedly vibe coding the new updates as the old devs kinda quit and BGS was more popular), and there was this one mod named Connor whom i was making a difficult job for, because he was quite literally the biggest Rumble DR to exist (i don’t have to tell you what that means). i sent them another ticket through modmail with a quite negative tone, and at some point i got fed up and started abusing the bug again, planning to give everyone i saw in public servers around 10 or so leaderboard crates. the devs fixed the bug after this, but banned me after they saw me abusing it a second time.

i was appalled because i was one of the only people still maintaining the MS1 wiki pages, and their incompetence led to my ban. guess how many updates it took? not one, not two, but SIX. it literally took them 6 version updates to patch the crate bug, which existed since leaderboard crates were added to the game around a month ago. i know that patience is important, but when you get into shit like this, it really gets on your nerves. i was literally willing to be one of their testers just for this, but i was so fed up of them neglecting their game that i just didn’t bother anymore.

another thing that sort of pissed me off was that “#og-discussion” was made for all old Rumble games, but 99% of the messages were about BGS specifically. but Connor insisted that the old channels will never be unarchived, despite MS1 still being relatively popular (and arguably their best game ever).

and since that day, i’ve just been demotivated to do anything that isn’t schoolwork. apologies for this spoiler message being so long, i just want people to know what i went through.

looking forward to your guys’ thoughts

You may return if you wish to get limiteds (missions) or kill time

Tho ur irl work comes first

Yeah, priorities

You can continue joining the game every updates to try out the newly added vehicles & farm for new limiteds ig

take a long break and come back, limited cars add such little value to your playing experience

i played for a while this summer since i had like unlimited free time for the first time since 2022 and it was fun to check out everything since i hadn’t played the map expansion and the custom servers

Try to reach the parts or derby wins leaderboard :person_shrugging:

Or get this title but you said you didn’t like playing only a few minutes spread across days
