Mind you this isnt steam as in external combustion, if that were to be the case it’d be way faster. This is basically water (vapour) thrust powered, meaning it doesn’t have anywhere near the punch than let’s say a rocket engine, which uses air and gas to thrust itself forward with a flamey doom.

i refuse to admit this is steam powered
like yeah steam power is one of the greatest feats of engineering man has ever made
the train for example
but then again they motion driven from cylinders which have steam constantly being pumped into them to rotate the driving wheels via coupling rods. but this is just being pressurised and shot out the rear which clearly wont give enough power to get up to high speeds. its steam, afterall.
