the date is november 7th, 2023. chromebookguy (yes, i know him irl, he goes to my school) decided to tell me about how he is giving his roblox account to me for my birthday. i knew a bit about roblox and cc2 in general, but i never really played roblox. he said i was free to do whatever with it, as he didn’t need that account anymore. i decided it was a deal because we were both car guys and he allowed me to use it whenever i wanted. while it did get boring to have everything unlocked after like a week, it was still fun to do daily missions and experimentation.
after his birthday, he told me about cc forums, and that he got banned from it, but he never told me why. im not gonna question it because it was probably something really bad that i shouldn’t talk about. i had some basic knowledge of how discourse forums worked, so i decided to check it out. like 2 days later, i made my account on the forums in hopes of being able to interact with the community in a fun way. i guess i forgot about it, because after making my first post, i went silent for like 4 months
but may is when i realized that the forums aren’t that forgettable after all, as i started to engage in interesting topics and the cc2 culture, building my rep along the way… until i found some bugs. i knew pro crusher was a thing, but i didn’t wanna risk it because if i included chromebookguy’s username in the bug report, there would’ve been a 99.99% chance of me getting permabanned for ban evasion, even though i’m not actually chromebookguy, because i have never explained this as i thought that people wouldn’t believe me. when i did make bug reports, i would refuse to provide a username because i didn’t want pro crusher (and i still don’t) and i wouldn’t risk his roblox account getting banned.
i started to make more and more topics, and posted a lot. by late july i got the regular title, and have built myself a really good rep. then i forgot exactly when, but hyperion (or someone else) announced that there will be a cc forums group. i was excited, but i quickly reminded myself that they wouldn’t accept and would likely inform the mods because of the account i had. i also never really asked for help with frenzies or other missions from forum users for the same reason.
and here we are now, the group is official. i didn’t really want to reveal that chromebookguy had given his account to me for all these months, mainly because of how i would be judged, but i’ll be honest about one thing. my lifestyle is very different to his, he has built quite a bad rep after he was banned, mostly from falling into the wrong crowds, meanwhile i’m a very non-argumentative person who is just sad about what happens in the world. i don’t support or stand for his bad decisions, but i try to help him as much as i can.
if there is a policy that doesn’t let banned forum users give out their accounts to their friends, or against people using the accounts of banned users, then i’m really sorry, because i spent a lot of time playing cc2 on his account, and i really enjoyed it. i enjoyed every update, every new car, every new addition that came to the game.
anyways, that’s all there is, i wish that chromebookguy stays away from the bad crowds, and that he gets to live a healthy life. while he has made terrible decisions, i will continue to support him regardless. as for me having his account, i don’t really know if that’s gonna cause a problem. it could or could not. thanks for reading this.
