Hypercharge Exchange

Ever bought a car with Platina, only for it to require thousands upon thousands of parts to fully discharge? With the new Hypercharge Exchange, that will no longer be a problem.

What is it?

The Hypercharge Exchange is a new submenu within the Dealership or Platina menu that allows you to convert Hypercharged parts of a vehicle to Platina, costing Credits to do so. It makes it so that you don’t have to grind for ages to get all of the Platina out of it. You can also spend Credits to Hypercharge vehicles directly, however it can only be used when you’ve reached maximum Prestige.

How does it work?

The base exchange rate is 100 Credits per complete vehicle destruction, with each one awarding 15 Platina. For Tier 2 vehicles, this costs 75 Credits. For Tier 3/4 vehicles, this costs 50 Credits. The exchange also converts your spent Credits into Money, at the value of your most expensive car. This allows you to get additional Platina from the money earning task.

Keep in mind that in case the exchange rewards you with more Platina than you can hold, you will only be allowed to exchange enough to fill up your Platina cap. You will have excess Hypercharged parts remaining if the exchange cannot allocate you enough Platina, and any extra Credits used will be refunded. There will be an invoice stating what you will get out of spending your amount of credits.

You can also use the exchange to replenish the Hypercharge on the vehicles you’ve already discharged. This feature is unlocked at max Prestige and can only Hypercharge vehicles that cost Platina. This will always cost 100 Credits per destruction. It can also be used to add Hypercharged parts to vehicles that already have a Hypercharge active, but this will cost 200 Credits per destruction.

You may also choose to upgrade any Supercharged vehicle of your choice to Hypercharged status, costing 300 Credits multiplied by the fraction of parts remaining over parts required for three destructions, and half if the vehicle costs Platina. This, however, won’t make your car eligible for Hypercharging unless it’s a Platina vehicle. If you use the exchange for this purpose, you will automatically get a new Supercharged vehicle. (I just know somebody will abuse this to hypercharge every car in the game…)

Why should this be added?

  • Credits really serve no purpose outside of vehicle upgrades and limited-time events, so it would be nice if we could spend Credits in some other way, such as for Platina.
  • Adding to the first point, many people are limited to 5,000 Credits without having any idea what to spend them on. This feature could free some of that up.
  • Platina is quite grind-heavy, so having a F2P feature that skips the grind would be nice. A lot of the things you can skip in the game cost Robux to do so, and I understand it’s to make money, but it leaves F2P players in an eternal grind of greatness, so it’s quite important to balance that out.

hopefully this gets added, i absolutely hate having to discharge new tier 4s that just barely fit in the row 3 crushers

this would be awesome as i have a ridiculous amount of hypercharges that are sitting unused
and buying mp with that platina would be a lot easier as i always stack up platina for the next limited using derby but it’s time consuming
