Now, for those of you thinking ‘But isn’t that just a Toyota Coaster?’, you are not wrong. The Hino Liesse II is the JDM version of the Coaster, and they are quite hard to find, as they are only normally used on school runs in Japan. However, I have actually been on one irl, and I can confirm the interiors are very nice and comfortable, the A/C is also god tier throughout the bus. Those buses might be built predominantly for school runs but they are nice af, ironically I normally am on one that mainly serves as a school bus.

When I mentioned they are hard to find outside of Japan, I wasn’t lieing, and I’ll prove it. The country I live in (New Zealand) has a hell of a lot of Japanese imports everywhere (Both of my familys’ cars are Japanese imports), yet in the whole country there are only 127 Hino Liesse’s (I and II) in the whole country. The one I’m on normally is literally the only Liesse in that operator’s whole fleet. Anyway, I’ve yapped for too long. Any thoughts?
