although cone tornados have a base smaller than the top, this tornado has too much of a drastic increase in size going up, so i think it’s gotta be a wedge

Also the answer was the Wedge. Wedge are typically very wide compared to more normal shaped tornado like cone. Usually very rare to see one and when it does, expect having heavy damage on it’s path. A little fact, despite having record wind of over 300 MPH, the El Reno tornado was only classified as an EF3 Wedge.

yeah for some reason they class it by damage rather than windspeed even though the ef scale uses speed as a measurement tool
