Fix some of the car's drivetrains

Hi, I am N0_AZ1ST and I have encountered an issue where cars in-game have the incorrect drivetrain spec compared to real life cars.

Most cars in this game have the incorrect drivetrain compared to real life. Take the Cadillac CTS-V, a RWD car in real life. RWD is when only the rear wheels push the car. FWD is when the front wheels is pushing the car. AWD is when all wheels are pushing the car. Supposedly the Cadillac has to receive power in the rear wheels, but in-game its front wheels are making power out of it. Why does this matter? Because drivetrains are different apart from each other. FWD is known to understeer (barely any power to steer), RWD is known to oversteer (breaking traction by losing control), and AWD has the most traction. Since the Cadillac is pushing power to its front wheels, it has a difference on traction performance. Here’s an image of the car without its rear wheels moving itself with the front powering the car.

Here is proof that the Cadillac is RWD in reality. image
You can search car drivetrain specs to certain cars online. However, there are more cars than the Cadillac that has the incorrect drivetrain.
Nissan Skyline GT-R R33] In-game Drive: RWD Actual Drive: AWD
Nissan GT-R] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: AWD
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: AWD
Acura NSX] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: RWD
Mercedes AMG E43] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: AWD
Dodge Charger SRT8] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: RWD
Ford Mustang] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: RWD
Ford Focus ST] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: AWD
Audi RS6 Avant] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: AWD
Dodge Dart Swinger] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: RWD
Nissan Silvia S14] In-game Drive: FWD Actual Drive: RWD

There could be more cars that I haven’t listed yet. To know a car’s drivetrain, hold the handbrake while moving in a low speed and don’t let go of the gas. If the car has its front wheels spinning, its FWD. If none of the wheels are spinning, it could be RWD. You can also remove the rear or front wheels and test it. Please check on all of your cars because some can have the incorrect drivetrain and it may ruin the driving experience.

I believe this has been requested before, but this is more in-depth

The ae86 needs a fwd

I’m not sure if you are joking but I’ll correct you that the AE86 comes with RWD in reality. The car in-game has its RWD configuration, so there is no problem to that.

FWD cars cannot drift. The AE86 either needs more power or less grippy tires…

This technically hasn’t been suggested before. An older post talks about being able to edit and change your drivetrain, not fixing it.

And on a side note: There shouldn’t be any cars in game with a RF layout (Rear-mounted engine, front-wheel drive), so the Grandeur Euphoria (which is a fictional vehicle) should at least be RWD as well.

Furthermore, even though they are all fictional, the Paganotta E35 (and its variants), the Vartrac Cement Truck, the Avanta TS-3500 and the EXR c650 should all be RWD, and the Avanta R51B3T and ScyTech Menoetius should be AWD, as they are currently FWD; there is no such thing as a FWD semi truck.
Also, the Dynex Hubus C5 and the Avanta C250T should also be RWD for the same reasons listed above.

The new missile truck is driven by its front 4 wheels despite it being 12WD

Which I like because you can turn easier when holding shift

Yeah me too but at the same time I still would like it to be 12WD, and it should have a bit more power because you lose speed when turning anywhere above second gear
