Great, had a feeling, if that’s the case though. If it is, then damn, this probably means CC2 cars are going to be as accurate as the ones in Pacifico if this catches on.

i really hope it’s not because of copyright, i mght actually leave the game for that (i DON’T blame ANYONE for that…[except for the people that invented copyright] AHEM i just won’t want to play something great that was hit with something shitty)

With a slight bit of searching (not sure if it’s enough) it could be due to copyright or something, as car companies are strict on their brands when being added in a game and so on, especially vehicle destruction games.
Take Beamng for example, as that game does not feature any cars that actually exist but heavily modified versions of them, and what I think the reason being is the car companies will not like it or you could destroy their vehicles in game because of maybe the impression it can leave to how they would be in real life, probably why you see games like Forza Horizon, where you can only dent and scratch the car no matter what happens.
Cars can’t look exact as companies may feel like some people will think games could simply replicate the design of their cars, but some companies might have a different reasons, though they might be a bit softer on that.
Car badges/logos and I think names can’t always be word for word (sometimes) as they are protected by something, but yet again, I didn’t search much into this.
Licensing it is like consent from the company, but I think it cost money depending on which company it is.
I think one of the only companies willing to just hand you their vehicle to put in your game (with a slight or just name and logo change) is Porche, not sure about a destruction based game though, as you don’t see a Porche in Beamng.

I’m also not sure how much car companies check roblox car games, so there’s that too.

I think the edits the modeler of the F80 made were basically signature designs by Ferrari, mostly the taillights.
