Its like race class, but instead used for derby. Heres a formula i came up with to calculate derby class:
x = attack score
y = defense score
a = 1.3 if can shoot, 1.1 if has any other special ability, 1 if no ability)
b = 3.6 if derby tier is 1, 1.6 if derby tier is 2, 1 if derby tier is 3
Rating = ((x + y) * a * b / 50) - 2
Result will be rounded up to a whole number
So basically top vehicles like fully upgraded drill will have 20 derby rating.
In dealership, it would look something like this (only seen in derby):
