Daily Streak Preservation in CC2

I’m a long-time player with a huge 682-day streak I’d hate to lose! Losing such a large streak due to a simple oversight can be incredibly frustrating. I strongly suggest implementing a system for streak preservation or recovery.

I have two distinct ideas on how this could work:

Idea A: The “Recovery Chance” Pop-up

This is an emergency safety net. If a player misses a day and logs in later, they get a notification that their streak is gone, with a one-time option to restore it.

  • Payment: The cost should reflect the value of the lost streak, perhaps using Platina (the premium in-game currency) or a high amount of Credits.

  • Optional Robux: A Robux option could be included for those who prioritize immediate recovery.

Idea B: “Streak Freeze” Tokens

This is a preventative measure. Players proactively buy these tokens to protect themselves.

  • Purchase: Available in the shop for Platina, Credits, or Robux.

  • Mechanic: When a daily quest is missed, a token is consumed instead of the streak being lost. The day is “frozen,” and the streak continues the next day.

  • Consequence: Once a player runs out of tokens, the next missed day results in a lost streak (potentially triggering Idea A).

    Also AI helped me to type this correctly in English since its my second language. We could also combine the 2 ideas A and B to one.

there’s also the option of just not joining the game that day
because it preserves your streak too
but i get your point, people with high streaks wouldn’t want it to get lost in a glitch

honestly this would be nice, but I think there should be more benefit gained from preserving a streak (such as more rewards), because there’s not much incentive to have a really long streak outside of just wanting to have one

Yeah I was also thinking about that since you dont really get anything from huge milestones like idk., maybe: 30 days since its a full month, 100 days or 365 days since its a full year. you just get rewards on 3rd, 7th and 10th day if you have roblox premium

yeah when someone has low streaks it doesnt really matter but with streaks which are huge that could be also good like streak frezees which you could buy before

just because you suggested it doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to get added at some point (which honestly it can take weeks to months to years to get added, or it can just not get added at all)

also now would be a good time to say that I’ve lost my 500+ day streak a while ago, personally I don’t really feel that bad about losing it, but there definitely are others that would be crushed to lose something like that

I mean I lost a 1163 day streak and it was crushing at first but I get over it real quick. In the end it’s just a number and as you age and move on it’s really quite insignificant. As long as ur getting the limited cars it’s not too much pain. Also there’s no award for having such a large streak. I would be pissed if they are added after I lost my streak tho.
