So basically Renault didn’t sell it as a Renault in Europe as it would hurt their image there but in other countries Renault wasn’t seen that way so the marketed it as a Renault. Then they stopped because of this “Renaulution plan” which means moving the company from a volume to a value strategy. Or what I think is that they just marketed it as a Renault as Renault’s were popular in those countries and there was no use on bringing the Dacia nameplate.
