Car engine die when go in the water

I think it would be more realistic if the car engine die when u go in the water
Water Level must be higher than the engine and stay in the water for 3-4 sec to make the engine die
If the water level is at the wheels,it dont make the car engine die
You can stay in the car but cant drive or use it
Sorry for bad english
