Buick Regal GNX

Title says it all. Buick’s fastest production car ever made (the fastest car they made periodhowever, was actually the Buick Wildcat 1985 concept which has been suggested :) )

Very fast car! Much more luxurious than its camaro Z28 and Pontiac Firebird counterparts of the time as well.
Very reliable and has respectable durability. Very fun car, and practical too. Cheap to maintain, easy on the wallet and an absolute smashing deal of cooperation between luxury and performance. Sublime handling, blistering stock acceleration, and immense modding potential with that good old boosted up buick 3800.
The performance figures and abilities of this car are absolutely insane if you take a look at its story in the automotive industry as well as on the track. The only cars at the time that could hang with it were the twin turbo Callaway Corvette at the time, as well as the Porsche 911 Turbo. Very nasty car indeed, and even more absurd when you find out it is a v6 engine. But to me, it is not much of a surprise, the 3800 engine is capable of very great things with some messaging and parts. The stock bottom end of those engines is capable of holding around 900 horsepower with no alteration to the bottom portion of the block. Absolutely bonkers!
An affordable package of supercar-embarrassing performance, looks, practicality and luxury all in one unit. There you have it, the Regal GNX.

~I think it is safe to say this ain’t your grandpa’s Buick lol unless your grandpa actually owns one, of course.
