hOld UP let me do some thinking

I think he means that one tiny 2-inch indent before the ramp.
and what I think happened (because I have experience with the Rocket Car) is that let’s say the rocket car was going 700 mph on the runway, the car is about to reach the end when all of the sudden (this happens to me too) the rocket car STOPS TO A HALT right when the ramp begins. the rocket car commits die in the process and that’s my thought of what happened. As you can see from the screenshot that the whole front end is gone so I think my theory is correct.
