Slap battles might not be a game at all. It might just be a scam. A part in a ring. How do I know this?
Well, think about it.
A lot of the gloves require you to waste time, a lot of the gloves require you to stay in the same server, and a lot of the gloves can set you back in terms of progress just by getting them. Everytime the player fails, they might get angrier and angrier, thus they mess up more and more. This will, in turn, promote a toxic playerbase and cause people to waste their time by staying in the server, giving the developers more views and causing them to be promoted to the top because players are staying. There is less likes compared to the amount of visits, meaning they sre just joining without liking and staying in the server.
Lets also notice the overkill glove. It is priced so high and yet its not a bundle. All you get is one glove that instakills players and promotes more of a toxic playerbase, causing people to want to buy it just so they can fight you, wasting their money and time. Its funny, promoting this sort of playerbase allows the devs to weaponize them. If you look at games that function similarly to slap battles and have been released before, they have been disliked bomb to all hell.
The only way you make progress is by slapping, which can be impossible at level 1 because other players can have much stronger gloves that can instakill, disable your attack, or just make it impossible to get to them. This will just restart the cycle
By stirring up all this rage and causing more and more people to get addicted so they don’t look worse than everyone else, they promote a mindset that can become more and more vulnerable to scams. We have seen this before with the Autism is a Disease movement. They say something so awful so people can buy their stuff out of rage.
Slap Battles is a huge scam that somehow hasn’t been noticed by Roblox. Why haven’t they been noticed?
Well, since there is official slap battles merch on the catalog… the reason is pretty obvious. Slap Battles makes Roblox a lot of money.
We need to stop this scam by hitting them in the wallet.
