The vehicle was gonna appear in the James Bond Movie The Man with the Golden Gun but that was scrapped when it’s creators Henry Smolinski and Harold Blake who are American Aeronautical engineers were killed during a test flight because of a bad weld in the right wing strut attachment which fell into the body panel of the Pinto
