Add water damage, if you submerge the car long enough the engine would lock and it wouldn’t work.

Hydrolock

Hydrolocking is where an engine is unable to be powered or kind of breaks when submerged in water. At least that is what I think it is, all I know is that is does damage to the engine of a vehicle when the engine is submerged in water. My point is- is that when a vehicle is underwater or the engine of the vehicle is underwater, the vehicle should no longer be able to work or put power down after the engine goes underwater.
