Add more torque to the terrain destroyer

its torque sucks for an off-road vehicle. even the first jeep has better torque!

yep
14.4 accel and 85mph top speed with all modifications would be outstanding imo and very balanced
(sporty cars still having a higher top speed which is realistic)

Its stock 7.3 acceleration is enough to make me weep (not literally lol) ’
10.4 isnt much better it needs stronk 14.4 accel and 85mph

:+1: :vibecat: it definitely needs this, also, maybe move the engine to behind the front of it. the td does not really live up to what it is meant to do in derby.

exactly
it either needs a much more durable engine, a different location for the engine, or both

Just to assure all of you, I have complained about this as well, and have suggested manymanymanymany things regarding the TD, so im sure the devs realize that something must be done eventually
it will happen, but we may have to wait several updates

Oh forgot to comment to you here the idea
What about a 14.4 or 14.6 max accel, and 85mph top speed, and the engine buff?

Yeah maybe 14-13.9 is good enough IMO
It’s still a bit much for a big truck but it’s an improvement

ye. It just needs to be higher than it is, thats all I know, and a good chunk higher. But before it should get buffed imo it should get a durability buff (the engine)
that engine is just a mockery of that truck, it needs to be taken out and replaced with a much larger engine

That’s pretty mean, I mean hes probably just a kid.

who are you calling a kid

That is reson why all truck isn’t have torque :joy:

well I mean just because its a gasser doesnt mean they have crap power
GMs 8.1 vortec is gasoline, and can outpull the diesel engines of that era xd hard to believe but it does
the Duramax pulls more though, but dmax pulls better than basically any engine of that era
btw I am talking about 2000-2006 is where most my truck knowledge is
regardless, the terrain destroyer was originally meant to be a cummins or a duramax diesel (I think cummins, is what the creator told me) so yeah it should have “turbo power” or something like that, however gas engines can have that too so idk
CC2 is a bit all over the place in the modifications department :/
for example trucks should have a different list of mods, with only a few similarities to the cars of cc2
trucks shouldnt have weight distribution I can say that

here the diesel fuel will give more energy than Gasoline fuel 15% inte same volume

but CC2 logic is this

this is main reson why do truck use diesel
a lot of horsepower with only a little torque, your vehicle is going to be slow to get up to a steady driving speed. It’s torque that gets things moving, which is why diesel engines are used in big trucks . Semis and large trucks are great for moving heavy loads because they have so much torque

yeah I agree
still though gas engines arent bad, truck gas engines are still far stronger in the torque department than car engines, I bet my 2003 silverado has more torque than a supercar. Supercars are all HP and no torque
all trucks in the game need a torque buff, but especially the terrain destroyer yeah cause its big and its diesel (It even sounds like a turbodiesel)
